From South – Follow the A64 (signposted Scarborough)
Continue forward onto the A64 (signposted Scarborough) onto Malton Bypass. Branch left, then at roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A169 (signposted Whitby, Pickering). Continue forward onto Malton Road - A169 Entering Pickering. At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A170 (signposted Scarborough). Continue forward onto Pickering Road - A170 Entering Thornton le Dale. Drive through the village, past the parade of shops on the left, the entrance to Cherry Garth Holidays is just over the bridge on the left, opposite The Hall.
Malton railway station links Ryedale to the Transpennine service operating between York, Scarborough and Manchester. A direct train operates between Malton and Manchester Airport. Manchester Airport is the main terminal into the North of England. From Manchester airport there is a direct train to Malton station. We can arrange to collect you from the station to take you to your apartment. However, other Airports serving the region are Leeds/Bradford, Newcastle, Durham Tees Valley, Robin Hood (Doncaster) and Humberside.
The Port at Newcastle is a 2 hour drive by car it’s served by DFDS Seaways who operate a daily service from the Netherlands and a twice weekly service from Sweden & Norway.
